Allie & Ron Engagement | Carlsbad, CA

Allie & Ron! To say I’m excited for their engagement is definitely an understatement! Allie and I are cousins so we go way back, and although we didn’t live close to each other growing up (and still don’t, which is a bummer!) we still got close especially as we got older. And even though we’re 10 years apart, it certainly doesn’t feel that way. As a kid, every time my mom pulled out the video camera for home videos, my first reaction was always “Hi Allison!” and I couldn’t let the camera turn off without a “Bye Allison!”. Was she watching these videos? I dooon’t think so haha, but that’s how much I looked up to my older cousin!

As we got older we both bonded over our love for travel, the beach, and Steelers football! So many #beachweeks have happened, and just as many Steelers football games! She’s made me fall in love with Pittsburgh just as much as she has, and has been one of my favorite people to cheer on the Steelers with. And there’s just something so special about watching a Steelers game in Steel City. It just has a better vibe to it than when watching in Southern California. ;)

When Allie & Ron came to visit in September and asked for some beach engagement photos, I definitely couldn’t say no! We headed out to one of our favorite beaches in Carlsbad and had so much fun! I seriously cannot waaaiiiiit for their wedding next August!!
